Necessary Work Before laser cutting
For different material cutting,the required laser power is also different,due to the different thickness of different materials,the distance from the nozzel to the material surface is also different,hence,foucs distance adjustment is necessary before the cutting of different materials with different thickness,after that,laser power can be adjusted accordingly.
Focus adjustment methods: According to situation of WUZHOU LASER'S MACHINE, the distance from the nozzel to the surface of material is around 6--8mm.Based on this distance,adjust to get the finest laser points: lossen the side screw of the laser head,pull lightly the head cover down,right hand twists the top screw of the laser head,test the laser point once every half circle twist until getting the finest laser point.then tighten the side screw and fix the nozzel position.due to the characteristics of laser focusing,it requires repeated adjustment to find the correct focus position.
Cutting test: Find a waste material,use "AUTO" or " MANUAL" mode to test(AUTO MODE is more precise),test the cutting several times until finding that the material can be just cut through.This power is the best suitable power.In this cutting way, the laser tube's life span can not be wasted and there will not be burn mark caused via the surplus power.
